"For starters, this is my first shot at learning programming. Having come from a creative background, I had absolutely no experience at anything remotely close to coding, barring the HTML classes I was forced to take in school. I walked out of it as empty-headed as I had walked into it. Since I am in the field of designing and web development is an added skill, I decided to take up a class not sure on what I should start with. After having a chat with Sagar, I was pretty much convinced to go the JavaScript way and for the first time I was looking forward to a course I dreaded earlier but wanted to learn just to amp up my skill set. And today I am a seasoned JS professional. Three things that stood out for me with his classes - 1. He is creative. He will knock the most abstract concepts into your head using another abstract set of concepts - this really helps with rooting the basics and I realized how essential it was only after I got done with the course. 2. He ensures you are learning what he is teaching you. He will ask you every step of the way - so usually by the end of the class you don't have doubts lurking around in your head 3. He is good at what he does. Period. I needn't say more. "

Javascript is the most fun computer language to start with. I will split the concept of learning a language and will stress on similarity between learning just any language like english and any coding language like JS. The similarity exists but many fail to understand because they are welcomed by an inhibition of learning the syntax of the language. However, the fear towards coding languages is generally irrational and not many try to make the plunge or help students make the plunge. The result is that outlook towards coding languages stays the same. The first and foremost way to learn javascript is to change one's outlook towards coding languages and consider them as any other language ( english, spanish ). Once the mindset is achieved you need to focus on conversing in that language. Yes, like every language, quality of how we speak only increase by speaking more often and being more expressive and finding more than one way to be able to communicate. In terms of a coding language, the communication actually happens with a machine. Yes, surprisingly you have to get in a beautiful relationship and keep communicating until you fulfil the task at hand. If you achieve the outlook and still fail to make progress, find a partner or a mentor who could help you stay involved and keep going. Eventually with time without any overhead or pressure you will become a proficient coder who would actually be able to handle all problems at hand. The perks of learning a language are unlimited. - it makes you sharper - it helps you communicate - it helps you to be confident and believe in "nothing is impossible" - it gives you a partner to talk to - it boosts your problem solving skills

I would like to tell you if you know simple maths and arithmetic then thats where javascript learning begins but after you begin learning you will find that the language has a lot more capability and you would be able to unleash the true power. live demos and working examples are the best way to learn not only javascript but anything in life. I would be glad to help with javascript concepts and then once you are through with JS concepts learning Angular would be a breeze.
