Definately, any adult who wishes to opt for Spoken English, really needs to know the concepts & meanings of verbs, adjectives how to use pro-nouns.

Basic understanding & sessions needs to be covered alongwith making them read aloud simple stories, with this they definately start gaining their confidence and give them simple words to form 10 sentences daily. 

 

Also, give them a story in English to read & then ask them to tell the same in their words.   And it goes on .. :)
