It depends on the time and effort you want to put in. I would say start learning about the basics of the SQL and then explore which area you want to get in the QA, Dev or Analytics. The easiest would be to get into the manual QA and once you start understanding the Software technologies, you can start learning one of the basic Object Oriented Programming languages in depth, and slowly you can move to dev as well. If you see programming doesn't interest you, you can stick to Analytics field.

There are plenty of opportunities, but it requires hard work to move from mechanical to software development. First be clear about which technology you want to learn, start from the basics, practice as hard as you can, which generally lacks in most of the students. Once you cover the basics, learn frameworks and web services supporting that particular technology which most of the companies are expecting in the current scenario. To do all this, you need to be patient and work as per your plans without getting demotivated.

Hi, See the opportunities for you in software field would be too less because of the obvious reasons. But can definitely look for Web Development and Digital Marketing as a career option as it will help you grow faster with sufficient salary in hand.
