Which violates the Newton laws. that is reason why we have to imagine a necessary force which provides the same acceleration with respect to you..Actually it not accelerates with respect to stationary platform as no force is there on it. But with respect to you(accelerating platform) it is accelerating...

is an imaginary force , we have to consider this force when we draw the FBD from accelerating frame

The physically apparent but nonexistent force needed by an observer in a noninertial frame to make Newton's laws of motion hold true. It is also called fictitious force. For example centrifugal force (reaction for centripetal force) is a pseudo force.

A fictitious force, also called a pseudo force, d'Alembert force or inertial force, is an apparent force that acts on all masses whose motion is described using a non-inertial frame of reference, such as a rotating reference frame.

while we are with non inertial platform(platform which is moving with acceleration), if we observe an object which at rest with respect to a stationary platform, it appears as moving with the same acceleration as that of with the same acceleration of your platform in opposite direction without any external force , which violates the Newton laws. that is reason why we have to imagine a necessary force which provides the same acceleration with respect to you..Actually it not accelerates with respect to stationary platform as no force is there on it. But with respect to you(accelerating platform) it is accelerating though no force is acting on it. To satisfy this we must need a force ( (imaginary ) which is equivalent to the product of mass of the observing object and acceleration of the platform while we are with non Inertial platform. now Newton laws are valid. This imaginary force is called Pseudo Force. Note.: It must be imagined when we are with not inertial plat form. read less
