In this brief lesson, I am giving out few tips on managing your time more effectively.

1. SMART Goal Setting: Set goals which are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time Bound.

2. Prioritize: Know what you must Do, Delegate, Delay and/or Delete.

3. Organise: Being organised saves a lot of precious time and energy.

4. Assertiveness: Being assertive i.e. conveying your thoughts objectively ensures that you are clear of your tasks and ensures better time management both at home and work place.

5. Use your Waiting Time Effectively: Whenever you are waiting to catch your bus or when you are on the way to your work in a hired car, utilise such time productively.

6. Focus on Task at Hand: Always focus on task at hand rather than thinking about past or future activities.

7. Understand and Utilise your Prime Time: Everyone has a prime time. For some it may be early mornings and for someone else it may be late night. Identify when you are most productive and utilise that time to the core.

Hope these tips help you in managing your time better.
